| EUROTAS was established in 1987, in a tiny village in France called Gaujac. Delegates from 4 national associations created it. EUROTAS was created because the Europeans wanted to share their own identity, their own culture and history and their own mystics, until they finally developed their own conferences. They are supposed to be a training ground and an experience field. EUROTAS is the meeting of the 24 Transpersonal Associations in European countries, with their 24 boards of management and many participants in each country. They form together the European Transpersonal Association, which is collaborating furthermore with different american transpersonal associations and many others from the whole world. EUROTAS is a non-political, non-religious, non-profit and multi-disciplinary organisation. | L'ASSOCIACIÓ CATALANA TRANSPERSONAL, (ACT), in Barcelona, is a pioneer institution for the transpersonal movement in Catalonia and Spain.
